Front Range Research Associates were commissioned by the City of Salida to provide a detailed survey of the historic buildings in Salida. These were intensive level surveys that recorded and evaluated properties within and adjacent to the historic commercial district. The project also conducted a reconnaissance level survey of the remainder of the city. All three of the surveys were funded by grants from the Colorado State Historical Fund with support from the City of Salida. The Colorado Cultural Resource Survey Forms are highly detailed records for many of the historic properties in Salida.
