Rex Riggenbach was born May 5, 1935 and grew up in Monte Vista, Colorado. He joined the Marine Corps in October 1955 and served in California and the South Pacific until October 1958. Rex worked for Mountain Bell in El Paso, Texas and then moved with Sandie, his wife, to Poncha Springs, Colorado, in 1971. He loved Jeeps, and could fix pretty much anything, and loved being outdoors and hunting with his dogs.
